A view of Mt Baker, part of North Cascades National Park in northwestern Washington State, as seen from a ferry to the San Juan Islands. Mt Baker is the third highest peak in Washington and is also known by the indigenous name, Koma Kulshan.

The area around Mt Baker is one of the snowiest on earth. It set a world record for snowfall in one season back in 1999 - 1140 inches, or 95 feet! A skier’s and shoveler’s paradise.
