An original woodblock print of Sourdough Mountain Fire Lookout in North Cascades National Park. Built in 1933 on top of Sourdough Mountain by the CCC - the Civilian Conservation Corps - replacing a previous lookout cabin put up in 1917.

During several summers in the 1950s, the poets Gary Snyder and Philip Whalen worked as fire watchers at this station. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
